MASTERFLAM PE9000 BC is an intumescent product mainly used in polypropylene;Polypropylene modified with elastomers;Polyethylene,and EVA and olefinic thermoplastic elastomers,to obtain end products with flame retardant properties using normal extrusion and injection moulding processes,it can be used to obtain flame retardant compounds that are less corrosive and have better physical characteristics than equivalent halogenated compounds. If combustion occurs, smoke is of a lower intensity, and a lower optical density. The pellet form permits customers to use them directly in injection moulding or compounding processes without having to worry about problems associated with hygroscopicity.
