It's not allowed to mix flammable, explosive, toxic, corrosive and radioactive materials into tungsten scraps
The impurities on the tungsten scraps surface should be eliminated .
The method of deducting impurities, the way of measuring external dimension and single block weight and other testing methods which are not included in this standard should be negotiated and determined by both parties of selling and buying and indicated in the contract.
Inspection and Acceptance
The inspection for tungsten scraps should be carried out by the technical supervision department of buying party, or a third party inspectorate can be consigned to make the inspection (e.g. SGS, Alex Stewart in China). The supplying party should guarantee the quality conforming to this standard or stipulation of the contract and fill in the quality certificates.
Lots
The tungsten scraps should be submitted for inspection by lot, each lot should be composed of the same category, same group and same grade.
Sampling
The sampling method as well as other related matters should be negotiated and determined by both parties of selling and buying and indicated in the contract.
Transportation and Storage
The tungsten scraps in different categories and groups can not be mixed-loading during transportation.
During the transportation, loading,unloading and stacking, the tungsten scraps should not be mixed with explosive, flammable, corrosive, virulent ,radioactive substance and garbage. And also the facilities which are polluted by above materials should not be used for loading and unloading. There must be rain protection, snow protection and fire protection facilities if there are special requirements.
