3. Purchasing Quality Standard Reference & Instruction

The zinc scraps should be recycled and traded according to the categories, groups and grades stipulated in this standard. Different categories, groups and grades should not be mixed.
It is not allowed to mix sealed container, flammable, explosive, corrosive, radioactive materials and medical waste into zinc scraps.
The impurities should be eliminated in the zinc scraps .
Under transportable condition, the biggest external dimension of lump zinc scraps can be negotiated and determined by both parties of selling and buying and indicated in the contract.
The content of zinc in zinc scraps refers to the zinc in metallic status and zinc alloy, zinc compound is not contained.
The inspection for zinc scraps should be carried out by the technical supervision department of buying party, or a third party inspectorate can be consigned to make the inspection (e.g. SGS, Alex Stewart in China). The supplying party should guarantee the quality conforming to this standard or stipulation of the contract and fill in the quality certificates.
The zinc scraps should be submitted for inspection by lots, each lot should be composed of the same category, same group and same grade.
Transportation and Storage
The zinc scraps in different categories and groups can not be mixed-loading during transportation .
During the transportation, loading , unloading and stacking, the zinc scraps should be prohibited to expose in the air. There must be rain protection and snow protection facilities..
