Requirements
The lead scraps should be recycled according to the categories, groups and grades stipulated by this standard. Different categories, groups and grades should not be mixed.
It's not allowed to mix sealed container, flammable, explosive, corrosive, radioactive substance and medical waste into lead scraps.
The biggest external dimension of single lead scraps has not been prescribed in this standard. However, under transportable condition, the biggest external dimension of lead scraps can be negotiated and determined by both parties of selling and buying and indicated in the contract.
Inspection and Acceptance
The inspection for lead scraps should be carried out by the technical supervision department of buying party,or a third party inspectorate can be consigned to make the inspection (e.g. SGS, Alex Stewart in China). The supplying party should guarantee the quality conforming to this standard or stipulation of the contract and fill in the quality certificates.
Lots
The lead scraps should be submitted for inspection by lots, each lot should be composed of the same category, same group and same grade.
Sampling:
The sampling methods of lead scraps and waste parts as well as other relative matters should be negotiated and determined by both parties of selling and buying.
Marking, Packing, Transportation and Storage
The lead scraps are toxic and dangerous materials. In order to avoid the leakages of lead slags, there should be good packing condition.
The packing method, packing dimension and weight should be negotiated and determined by both parties' of selling and buying and indicated in the contract.
The lead scraps in different categories and groups can not be mixed-loading during transportation.
During the processes of transportation, loading , unloading and stacking, the lead scraps should
be prohibited to expose in the air. There must be rain protection and snow protection facilities.
The wrappage for waste lead can not be used for other packing again.
